Red Velvet Smoothie

A healthy red velvet smoothie made with beats and vegan chocolate protein powder. 

What you will need: 

1/2 Raw Beet Root (cleaned, peeled, and chopped)

4 Medjool Dates

1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries

1 Scoop Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder (Suggestion: LivWell Raw Cacao Vegan Protein Powder

1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (Or any other non-dairy milk), plus some more to get the consistency you like

3-4 Medium Bananas (make sure they are spotted and ripe!)

Directions:

1) Blend the beet root, Medjool dates, strawberreis, vegan chocolate protein powder, and almond milk together. 

2) Once everything is mixed, pulse in the bananas

3) Add extra almond milk or water to get the right consistency if required. 

 

Recommendation: Use a high-quality blender, like Vitamix, to get the best tasting smoothie
