Love pesto sauce but want to mix things up a bit? Try this Parsley Walnut Pesto Sauce.
What you will need:
2/3 Cup Walnuts
1/4 Cup Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley
3 Large Garlic Cloves
3 Heaping Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Unsweetened Almond Milk to arrive at desired consistency
Salt and Pepper to Taste
1) Combine all ingredients in a small food processor or blender. Add the almond milk at the end slowly to arrive at the desired consistency.
2) Add salt and pepper to taste
3) Serving Suggestion: Use as pasta sauce on Herbed Tofu and Vegan Bacon Bow Ties or favorite pasta dish
